Lucid Motors has announced its 2024 Air models, revealing that the prices have once again been lowered, making the flagship sedan more accessible. The automaker aims to attract potential customers with additional bonuses for charging and maintenance.
Following a decrease in year-over-year deliveries in Q4 2023, Lucid Motors ($LCID) has introduced various demand levers, including a referral program, to address the surplus of EV inventory. In addition to the Air sedan, the company’s upcoming Gravity SUV and plans for a third mass-market EV have created much excitement in the market.
Despite offering just the Air at the moment, Lucid Motors has significantly reduced the prices of its 2024 models, focusing on enhancing affordability and ownership experience. The RWD Air Pure, in particular, has seen a massive price reduction along with additional price cuts for other trims, aiming to address the pain points of potential EV buyers.
Lucid cuts 2024 Air prices by up to $7,500
Lucid Motors has revised its Air prices, with the RWD Pure starting at an MSRP below $70,000 – the original price target. Moreover, the Air Pure model offers an attractive 410 miles of EPA range.
The other two trims, Touring and Grand Touring, have also seen price reductions. Comparatively, the new prices are as follows:

The pricing of the tri-motor Sapphire, however, remains unchanged due to its recent production and premium positioning in the market.
Lucid Motors also seeks to enhance the ownership experience for new Air customers by providing a $1,000 allowance towards the purchase of a charging accessory, along with free scheduled maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles.
