To help reduce the national average driving test waiting time, the DVSA has committed to creating an additional 150,000 driving test bookings.
The DVSA is achieving this by allowing more eligible individuals with a driving test warrant card to test full-time until March 31, 2024.
Last week, the agency published a blog post from DVSA Chief Executive, Loveday Ryder, providing updates on:
- The progress made in reducing driving test waiting times
- Efforts in areas with long waiting times
- The impact of this work on other services such as ADI part 2 and 3 tests
- Challenges faced, including bad weather
If you missed it last week, you can read more information on all of the above in Loveday’s latest blog post on DVSA Despatch.
