New Englanders now have a reason to celebrate as Vermont’s first Tesla store is finally open in South Burlington.
IT’S HEEEEEERRRREEEE!

January 26: The Vermont Tesla store is not going to open in the latter half of January as initially expected. A supervisor mentioned the store would not be ready until March 1 at the earliest, based on a recent visit by one of our readers.

Vermont’s first (and only) Tesla store
December 22: Vermont drivers can now enjoy the convenience of having a local Tesla store in South Burlington instead of having to travel to nearby states for service and purchases. The store is expected to open in the latter half of January.
Vermont state laws and zoning changes have enabled the opening of this store, providing a direct sales option for EV enthusiasts in the region.
Tesla’s expansion in Vermont follows the recent opening of a store at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, catering to customers in neighboring states as well.
The state of New Hampshire will also benefit from this development due to the absence of Tesla stores in the area.
Electrek’s Take
Vermont’s EV community welcomes the arrival of Tesla’s store, which will further boost EV adoption in the state. With a high rate of EV owners in the region, the store is expected to attract new buyers and simplify the purchase process for existing ones.
