Well, this news is bound to ignite discussions across the internet yet again. Following a drop in Tesla sales and the widespread release of Full Self Driving (Supervised) version 12.3.3, Elon Musk has announced on Twitter that Tesla will unveil a robotaxi on August 8th, 2024.

There are several noteworthy points to mention here.

Firstly, I recently tested FSD versions 12.3.1 and 12.3.3 and found the system to be significantly more human-like and natural. While impressive, there are still some issues that need to be addressed.

Secondly, Tesla saw a decline in sales in the first quarter of the year, causing concerns about demand relative to production capacity and growth targets.

Thirdly, there’s a report from Reuters claiming that Tesla has canceled its lower-cost electric car project, which impacted the stock further.

Speculation arises whether Musk’s tweet about robotaxis aims to boost the stock or indicates significant progress in FSD development. The debate continues until the reveal on August 8th.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
