China’s electric cars continue to demonstrate their superiority over those in the West, as shown in a new video shared on Chinese social media and reported by CarNewsChina. The video highlights the remarkable charging speed of the upcoming Li Auto Mega minivan, set to be released in China on March 1, starting at around $83,000.

Li Auto has become one of the best-selling premium EV brands in China, surpassing most U.S. spec EVs in terms of range addition speed on fast chargers. This technological advancement exemplifies China’s lead in the electric vehicle race.



Li Mega

The Li Auto Mega minivan showcased in the video recharges from 10% to 80% in just 10 minutes and 36 seconds at a fast-charging station, outperforming the entire U.S. EV market. This rapid charging speed sets a new standard for electric vehicle charging.

The Mega displayed remarkable range improvements during the short charging session. Starting with 68 kilometers of range, it ended up with 568 kilometers after the 10-minute session, a significant achievement. The Mega’s battery is supplied by China’s CATL.
