At DIA, we are dedicated to promoting equal opportunities for all. Today, we stand with organizations worldwide to honor the contributions of women in our profession and advocate for inclusivity. With only about a quarter of driving instructors being female, it is crucial to encourage more women to join the profession to ensure diversity among trainers aligns with the diverse range of pupils we educate.

We invite our members to share their thoughts on how we, as the industry’s leading representative body, can best support and attract female trainers and underrepresented groups to our profession. Please email your ideas to
support@driving.org.

As an organization with a female CEO, Chief Examiner, and other strong female leaders in key roles, we take pride in the inclusivity of our team and aim to see this diversity reflected across the profession.

On this day, we celebrate the tireless efforts of women in the industry who, alongside colleagues of all genders, work diligently to enhance road safety through professional driver and rider training. We express our gratitude for your dedication and hard work, as well as recognize the significance of acquiring a license in promoting economic mobility, independence, and equality of opportunity for all.
