As Drive Electric Earth Month approaches, various events are gearing up across the country to showcase electric vehicles and promote sustainability.

Drive Electric Earth Month is an extension of the ever-popular Drive Electric Week, a tradition that primarily hosts meetups in the US but occasionally extends its reach to other countries. Initially dubbed Drive Electric Earth Day, the event has now evolved to encompass a broader range of activities throughout the month of April. The organizing bodies behind the initiative include Plug In America, the Sierra Club, the Electric Vehicle Association, EV Hybrid Noire, and Drive Electric USA.

The events scheduled for Drive Electric Earth Month range from community celebrations akin to Earth Day festivities to EV Ride & Drive experiences where attendees have the chance to test drive various electric vehicles at a single location. Participants can interact with EV owners to gain firsthand insights into the experience of living with an electric vehicle, free from the pressures of a traditional dealership setting.

With 180 events registered in the US and 2 in Canada this month, Drive Electric Earth Month is already in full swing. Be sure to check out the various activities happening in your area, from multi-stage events like the DRIVE Electric kickoff in Arizona to dedicated EV showcases like EV Fest in California or Earth Day EV Expo in Illinois.
