The Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX is the latest performance-oriented electric minivan from the German automaker. This souped-up battery-powered people carrier features all-wheel drive for the first time, thanks to a dual-motor system, rapid charging speeds of up to 200 kilowatts, and an impressive towing capacity of nearly 4,000 pounds.

Offered in Europe with two wheelbase options, the ID. Buzz GTX stands out with larger batteries compared to the standard models. The short-wheelbase version comes with a 79-kilowatt-hour battery, while the long-wheelbase version is equipped with an 86-kWh battery, capable of charging at speeds of up to 200 kW.

The new Volkswagen ID. Buzz GTX is the latest performance-oriented EV shown to the world by the German automaker after the ID.3 GTX and ID.7 GTX.

The new, hotter electric minivan is the most powerful ID. Buzz to date thanks to its dual-motor setup that makes 335 horsepower.

Additionally, the ID. Buzz GTX accelerates from 0-62 mph in an estimated 6.5 seconds, with a top speed of 99 mph. With a total output of 335 hp, the GTX model is the most powerful in its lineup.

The ID. Buzz GTX also boasts enhanced towing capability, with the short-wheelbase version able to tow up to 3,527 lbs and the long-wheelbase model up to 3,968 lbs. Choose between five- or six-seat configurations for the SWB model, or a seven-seat layout for the LWB version, with cargo volumes ranging from 1,121 liters to 306 liters.
