PHEVs gain traction in the U.S.

Similar to battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids experienced a surge in sales in the U.S. in 2023. With a shift away from gas-powered cars, PHEVs offer a practical solution for those concerned about range and charging infrastructure, while still enjoying the benefits of an EV.

The GLC 350e provides an electric-only range of up to 81 miles on the WLTP cycle, translating to an estimated EPA range of 50-60 miles. The vehicle can operate on battery power alone at speeds up to 87 miles per hour and supports fast charging up to 60 kW, allowing for a full battery charge in just 30 minutes.

For luxury enthusiasts, the GLC 350e offers a range of premium features across three trim levels: Standard, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. Its interior amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, adaptive headlamps, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and much more. The top-tier model even includes digital light projections and insulated glass.
