Porsche has recently unveiled its second electric vehicle, the Macan Electric. The model is scheduled to enter the US market in the second half of 2024.
The compact SUV is expected to be more affordable than the Porsche Taycan and equally practical for everyday use. It is projected to outsell the Taycan, which recorded 40,629 global sales last year.

The Porsche Macan is built with an 800-volt battery architecture and is capable of charging at up to 270 kW on DC fast chargers. The vehicle features an onboard charger with a rating of 9.6 kW in the U.S.
The base Porsche Macan 4 Electric has a total system output of up to 300 kW (402 hp) in Overboost Power mode, while the Macan Turbo Electric delivers 470 kW (630 hp) in the same mode. This enables the Macan Turbo Electric to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds.
